I'm hoping to get into the beta, one way or another, because that's what will decide if I'll play cmRF in retail or not. I wouldn't try to race for the level cap, I have done that enough times, but more check out the community in-game, translation and if there's any lag, stuff like that. Of course I'd play and level, but not as seriously as I have done other betas. I have friends who also signed up for the beta so I suppose I'd play with them, if they get in. With release set to February, I don't think phase 3 will last very long. I just hope it lasts long enough for the 10,000+ who get in to get far enough into the game to appreciate it and want to play in retail.

well. if the shipping date is feb 14, and it's already Dec. 21. so count sometime from now till feb. 14, divide that by 3 equally or however you like it. ! and there you have your time! honestly, with that date, each phase can't be more than 2 weeks long.

I read on the CodeMasters forum that Phase 3 will be the longest of the 3 phases and this was from the official beta thread. But how much longer than the 2 other phases is the real question.

Someone told me one phase, with only 100 persons, had already started, but I'm not sure if I can trust someone who laughs like "bugaga"...

I agree with rins. Each phase can't be more than 2 weeks long and plus that would make sense for no Open Beta and the supposed wipe they are doing at the end of Phase 3 right before retail comes out. Not a lot of people will get that far in the two weeks. It's technically like those 14 day trials you get when you download an MMORPG from the official game website. I dunno, in my opinion it kind of does suck because I would really have liked Phase 3 to be the longest and with no wipe at the end but, what can you do? I was planning on buying the game anyway whether I got into the beta or not :)

No "public" has played CM's version of the game yet.
