It seems that after the recent downtime that there has been a big drop in forum activity. It's kind of sad that it's happening, but moping won't do anything. A lot of people haven't come back after the downtime. It seems that the only people who post are me, mana, bunneh, rins, and yama. I think we need to go on an advertising campaign or something. Maybe once CM beta starts, RFBase will become alive again. Who knows... Any feedback and crits? I'm just a little concerned.

I'm not sure if there are less visitors now than before the downtime. I mean, just look at the registrations, there have been not less than 28 new registrations for the forum, only today.

What I have noticed, though, is that the admins are never around. Sure, Mana posts every now and then, but many parts of the site still remain broken. I have also mentioned before that there's not much content, or at least not easily accessible and up-to-date content.

As Codemasters' forums get more and more new members every day, the people who have actually played RF, and know how things work, have all but disappeared in the crowd. It feels like there are still many on RFBase who have played, or are playing RF, and that is a good thing, I think. People can come here, ask questions, and get answers from people who know (or not know, in my case... -.-;) about the game from having played it. Many of these only ask a question or two, then disappear, never to come back again. There's not much of a community with only a few doing the talking. -.- From what I have seen, the guest to member ratio on these forums seems range from one member per five guests, to one member per ten guests.

I think the RFBase admins need to sit down and think through what they really want with the site, and how to get more people to stay.

Nah, RFBase isn't dying. Registration stats, RFBase is still doing great, and post stats it's doing fine as well.

With moving the site, some problems have arose - I'm working on fixing the screenshots section now. And the News page has been fixed.

Sorry I've been away, I've been having some sort of.. sleeping pattern problem or exhaustion or something for the past few days. As soon as I get home, I'd fall asleep for 12-14 hours. Happened most this week, even happened yesterday too.

Hopefully I'll be fine today so I can get to working on the site

Yeah :-/. RFBase, and well, all fansites follow the trend of interest for what it is they are a site dedicated to.

Look at it - at the moment no date is set for the main beta of the upcoming [perhaps the biggest] release, and the retail is just anybody's guess.

There just isn't much to discuss or converse about right now. :-/

I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well, Mana. I now have a little (only a little, though ;) more understanding of why there hasn't been much happening lately. I hope you get well soon, there's a lot of fixing to do. ;)

It would be more fun if the activity was up a notch though.
it's the only modivation for me to just post right after other people 10 seconds after they posted.
(i do that on forums i'm dedicated to, but i cant find any of those lately >_<)

granted i dont post alot but i am always lurking in the shadows.......well since i discovered this site a few weeks ago...i even came back after the down time!

i just think it sux...that nobody near me knows about this game...therefore there no interest in the website.....eveb the local gameshops around me when i ask them for a release update look at m like i am making this game up :crys:

LOL you said lawl how cute.

I Play EQ2 And their good at advertising it..i see commercials for it in movie theaters even. LOL.....maybe they should do somthing like that

as for the forums i guess maybe not as many people posting yet cuz there isnt much to post about atleast till Beta..
