RFBase Suggestion Thread

If you have a suggestion to make RFBase a better place, name it, chances are, if we find it a good suggestion and appropriate, we'll do it.

So suggest

I really like the new layout's direction. Awesome work! I just wanted to point out that there are instances where text is just hard to read.

1. At the top, the light gray menu with Accessories, Armour, Bullets, etc... the orange text is hard to see (probably because the orange and the gray are very close in value). I'm assuming this will eventually be replaced with images but my suggestion would be to use a darker gray (like the one in the forums).

2. Also, for account activation and logging in, that middle site, you used a light gray with white font. Once again, this is very hard to see.

3. On your navigation bar on the font color of the poll question is a bit too dark for that color background. My suggestion would be to change it to the same color of "Shout:" which is above it.

I believe all those have been fixed. Anything else?

The shoutbox could do with a few more entry slots. Just a thought.

Yep.. as of know i don`t use the shoutbox. But i know that a shoutbox can be quite useful like on crystalnova for example. Unfortunatly i won`t be able to talk with you using the shoutbox anyways because we live in different timezones^^

Yeah, there used to be 10, now it's 5 or 6. I did this so people who accidentally stretch the screen, say posting a link, in a few messages the person's message will be gone and the screen won't be stretched.

How about Clan recruiting area on the forums ?
and maybe areas for the 4 main classes ?

I'll be taking those into consideration once the site has a more active community.
