Difference between fighter and ranger armour?

Is there any difference? Should a ranger be wearing fighter armour or a fighter wearing ranger armour?

Well, I didn't realise there was launcher armour until I was 23. I was using ranged until then, when I switched I noticed I was attacking faster. So, I guess that means if you wear the right armour, you get bonus' with that weapon? Or maybe I'm wrong, who knows. :ew:

When i weared my launcher armor i noticied that too but im not totally sure...
