When you die you lose a certai amount of exp right?
Does this apply to PvP too or just PvM?
Also, as you use a skill, the lvl of that skill increases right, so there is also an exp bar for the skills or something like that to tract that skills progress right? Or is there something else?
And when you die do you lose a certain exp from the skills too or just your exp for leveling up?

You only can lost XP while killed by mobs.
You only can lost fame point while killed by enemy players.

The % you losing is random from 0-20%. The more higher level the mobs killed you, the more % you can lose. But how much it lost is still random, it could you lose less than 1% or even nothing. After your XP goes over 50%, it increase the % you can lose as well.

All the skills wil shown as % of progress. You will never lost skill % by dieing.

Yey, so I CAN level down Or delay my lvl for skills. Hehe, I just hope not many people do this or found the good sides of this in this game, it makes the game boring and too much centered on the players that need a life than those who just play.

I remember that question was asked on the Japanese website Dengeki Online.
The developper confirmed that exp loss is totally random, so mob level shouldn't have any influence on this.

I did remark, though, that when you get killed just after having leveled you tend to lose little XP whereas when your exp is > 50% you tend to lose large chunks of exp (like 10%)
But maybe its just coincidence.

Also you can't delevel in RF, so it's safe to sell your old equipment as soon as you upgrade it.

It's not actually delevel, I planned to stay a bit low on level(keep dieing and stay on 1 level) and constantly raise my PT. Say, I can be a magician with enough PT to actually be at par with a warrior of my level or higher minus the skills specific to the warrior and still be as good as any magician of my level or higher. Theoretically it will allow me to Hybrid to another type of class without losing much on my main class other than time. (From what I gathered at the korean website, it seems like all classes have the same basic skills, they only differ with other classes because of the skills gained only by that specific class).

The idea came from my experience in playing Khan. Wherein people keep dieing and constantly raise their Con/Int to a certain number(since stat growth is independent of level growth) before leveling up, resulting in a character with abnormally high HP/MP( since con is a variable for hp gain when you gain a level and int is for MP). I planned to apply this on RFO, since PT/Skills growth is independent from Level growth, maybe I can also create a char good enough to melee and still good at something else.

I don't know how much this will affect my char, might be alot or none at all. I'll experiment on this on my first char, it's more fun gaining knowledge of the game and it's formulas than just simply hack and slash your way to max level. For me atleast. I just hope that it doesn't become a defacto build like in Khan.
