Well i have a new Dell PC, and i expect it to run smooth. it does most the time but during online games i tend to get way more lag than anybody else. like wen i warp to a mission in RF i get there 1 minute into the mission, and wen i warp back to town it takes even longer. i also have the specs on the lowest w/ no music or fx and i dont have programs running in the background.

my PC specs r:
2.7ghz
256mb ram
1 40gb HD with about 9 g's less
intel graphics card 2 w/ 64mb

im just wondering if i need more memory or maybe a new card. any help would be appreiciated, thx in advance.

The specs of my PC are:
1.46 ghz
1024 MB ram
about 5 5 GB HDs lol, and 1 120 GB
GeForce FX 5900XT video card

The PC I play on:
1.60 ghz
512 MB ram
4 20 gig HDs
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro

And I compared, I get max FPS on the one that has the radeon video card (On Very High detail), and on the one with the GeForce, I get around 18 fps in the Accretia town on default... Strange, it seems it depends on your video card really, so thats all you really need, and I suggest getting a ram upgrade, it says the reccomended is 512 MB ram

You need a better video card and more RAM.

Radeon 9800 pro in my opinion, I love it, I don't lag no matter what :D (Not including the mining spots, I get a bit of lag there :P)

im running on a :
P4 1.7
512SD ram
60Gb Hd split into 20/40
Radeon 9200 128mb

its seems to run fine.. slight lag here and there as my connection sorta sucks because i live in an apparentment...

dont know if i want to upgrade or build a new comp...

i feel like building this:
Athlon 64 3000 + 1.8G
1G DDR2 533mb ram
Seagate 80gig HD x2
GeForce PCX 5750 128mb x2 *running them in SLI*
