My pc has been freezing latley. What should I do to fix this. I did a registry scan, virus scan, spyware scan, and a defragment scan. Also a disk error scan. I do not want to format it...yet. I want to know if their is an alternative.

I have died alot in RFO and Supreme destiny because of this.

Make sure your fan is working fine, because it may be your computer overheating. Clean your fan of any dust.

I remember when my fan got clogged with so much dust to the point it couldn't move, and my fan is over the chip thing, so all it was doing was containing all the hot air.

Everytime I ran an app that used a high amount of CPU (any game, cdburners etc), it would crash. I rebooted, and saw the cpu teperature was at 100degrees celsius :-0.

Cleaned my fan and everything was in working order.
