okay this is not to say I read anything wrong in paticular because I was not able to read the whole thing but when I
read "fruit tree" I decided I had to post this

first I would like to explain why are "modern" bibles have so many problems and how you can check your work and MINE

in the original king james bible "1st edition in the 1600s" (I think) ( we are in our 4th printing )
there is a meesage to the reader ( king james but you also since you are reading it )
that tells you to please get a stroms concordenince this book allows you too take any word in the bible to it's true meaning ( original translation )

for example many people tell you fornication is ( pre marital *** ) in the concordinance it says backbaiting ( translate backbiting how you will but it does say backbiting and not per marital ***) ( not that I condone pre *** either )

anyway now that you now how to study I can tell you what I found wrong earlyer ( without going threw the whole creation )
the word ets (how it's pernounced not a good spelling) in hebrew is often translated apple tree or tree is properly translated stump (tree stump) or (in my opinion and many others as) stem

also note that the word eat translates to be full of

so GOD said (better translated and exactly this way in the hebrew manuscripts)
DO not be full of knowlege from the stem of good and evil

also note that serpent translates to alot of things but the one I like to use is unwanted one and that will cause you harm

It's all perspective and interpretation IMO. And there's so many different sects to one faith that it can't be all the same on all sides.

But it's pretty accurate what hyakku is saying from what I recall.

In any case I don't see why not. (but then I'm not a mod)

As long as it doesn't get out of hand. If it just becomes a flame/spam fest then it will be locked and some people may get in trouble for spamming/flaming.
