Hey guys, like most of you the theme music during the patch process really got on my nerves. Especially since it played forever and messed with my normal gaming/music.

Well I set out to find a way to disable that feature and found it pretty quickly, here's how (don't worry it's really simple)

1.) Go to your RFOnline installation directory.
2.) Click on the folder titled "Bgm"
3.) Find the file named "2_RF_Online_Love_Theme"
4.) Delete, or move this file elsewhere (recommended)

Now the launcher should not play that song! Don't worry, it doesnt give you any errors either (or at least it didn't to me). also, this should work for any music in the game. So if you hate a certain theme, you can either replace it with something more appealing (make sure to name it the same, and use the same file type!) or just get rid of it :-D

Hope this helps some of you out there ^^

I thought the music was relaxing, and you only hear it for about 5 seconds when you arn't patching anyways. Although it would be cool to add your own music for when you're hunting in the game, and then your own when you are in the town, etc.

You can turn the music off by pressing escape when the patcher is in focus.

Found a problem with this customization:

Whenever you attempt to "overwrite" or "delete" it, the program "redownloads" the original file. Since its considered a patch update, you can cancel it. Therefore, upon exiting the program, and reopening it, you're stuck with the "accursed song" again.

Then again, you could just overwrite/delete the file again before opening RF, but that would cause another patching.

The theme song is not painful on the ears, but the incessant broken English used by most of the players burns thy eyes.

Play when its morning over here. That would appease thy eyes from t3h lame english. Not that they dont really speak english well, but they tend to engage on what one calls "text talk" (SMS language). Some of them get really irritating, like, "wait in the town me" (I'll wait in the town), just for the sake of sounding "cute."

What irritates me is the fact that some of these arseholes refuse to speak english if asked politely. They have to remember that for now, the game's considered "international beta." Combine it with rampant killstealing, and whuboy! I'd rather play on saturday mornings, with the respectable int'l community, and mine in the afternoons soon after.
