Hello... Ive just recently discovered this game and it looks good... Im looking forward to this game being released in the philippines (just hope LuG doesn't screw up again =/) but i still dont understand some of the mechanics of the game...

Do characters have stats like other typical rpgs (i.e. strength, agility, etc)?

Skills are leveled up while we use them more right?

and finally, why are there elves in a futuristic game? 0.o

1. As far as I know, there are no "stats" but there are sort-of-stats (aside from character's basic level) that limit what objects you can use.

2. Yes.

3. No one said they were elves. Everyone just seems to refer to them as elves because of their looks. They are Bellato and Cora, and they just happen to have elfin features and pointy ears.

Vulcans and Romulans in Star Trek have pointy ears too.

And lastly ... who says elves had to die out after the medieval ages? There are elves and orcs in the 2050 AD tabletop RPG Shadowrun.

There are lots of futuristic games that have elves, orcs, and others in them. Theres Warhammer 30k, Arcanum, Rifts, and lots more. But no, RF isn't one of them.

Helping is good as long as that person doesn't ask for more. I once helped a novice in pRO gave him a +7 blade and tank him, after he reached job lvl 10, we came back to town and he asked for equipments, items and zennies, when I told him to hunt for them, he says I'm greedy and slefish :ew:

Hmm the when I was tanking novices well from my experience there are those who abuse one's goodness and there are the thankful ones. Well I miss those days, I don't mind tanking few noobs anyway but I'm not myself yet.
