I've only played RF for 2-3 days before the big "Server Meltdown" so im not that familiar with it. I have gotten my Cora warrior to level 19 but after looking around im not sure if im doing it correctly.

I basically went from quest to quest leveling using only Shining Cut (Which is level 3) and Wild Range (Level 2). Only using melle weopons with no shields, mainly 2H (No guns etc).

So what i'd like to know is am I doing it right?

I've seen alot about maxing PT (Not quite sure what that means) and have no clue what TP is (heard you get 1 after every level) and about using bows/guns and shields.

So could anyone answer me these questions (im a warrior so answer questions of how a warrior should do it please):

1. What is PT and how should I level it and what should I level it with?

2. Same as above but with TP.

3. What skills should I use? (I've only leveling Wild range and Shining Cut)

4. Should I be spending alot of time Mining for money? (I've managed to stay on about 450-600k for 5 levels)

5. What is the best weopons to level for a warrior? (I prefer to do alot of damage)

So basically a noobs guide to leveling a Cora warrior to say level 20ish (By then I should of grasped what to do for further levels).

If anyone has the time to answer these for me I'd be very appreciative

Thanks in Advance,

Deceptional :afro:

1. PT is your basic stats. while other games have "INT, STR.." etc, RF have PT. Long Range, Close Range, UNIT, Force, Summon.. etc.. each weapon and armor requires certain things. if it's a close range armor, it would require a certain lvl and a certain lvl of your "close range" pt. if neither is met, you can't wear them. Force PT allows you to have more FP, Long Range, i believe.. is stamina. and so on..

2. TP? i have never heard of the term =/ maybe you meant CP? Contribution Point... determines your rank and things... you get some for each quests you complete.

3. What skills? Depends on what type of weapon you use. If swords, then Shining Cut. Though it's preferrable to use all buffs (accuracy, wild rage.. etc..) and just use Shining Cut as your main attacking skill.

4. Again, depends on what you want. Potions after 20 starts to costs alot. it's easy to spend 200k + per visit to the Sundries. My suggestion is to have your char mine while you're sleeping or away..

5. If you prefer to do a lot of damage, then Spears.

There are people that like to max out all their PTs. maxing out just means you're going to get the highest lvl possible for that certain PT for your lvl. Around lvl 16, your PT max will jump 2 lvls, as oppose to 1 PT lvl per every other lvl. So, for example, you'll have 13/15 PT for close range. "maxing out" means getting 15/15. Some people like having more stamina, so they lvl long range too..., and some would like to have more FP to use for skills.. so they lvl Force PT.

this should be under questions btw, as it's not really a guide =/ but i can't move it.. so oh well xD;;

Ah I see, that clears alot up.

1. I think I was something like 13/14 - 16 PT @ level 19 (had just turned 19) and I've gotten some armours for the next levels and the Close range skill is met for them so I guess im doing okay... Is there a certain way to "max" it? like grinding lower level monsters for skill or something like that?

2. Im sure I read about TP Somewhere.. about geting it every time you level and putting it in a certain skill or something. But if it doesn't exist thats probally why I never saw it in-game. Come to think of it, it probally was just a typo of PT (saying what you did, about geting higher PT every level)

3. I have been using all sorts of weopons from 1-19, anything with a high damage output. But I believe they were all able to use shining cut as its my highest level skill. I prefer 2 hand Axes, as they look very nice (Gotten my hands on a Intense Two hand Beam Axe which is so cool looking for when I turn 22). But I've been using swords too.

I was also asking with that question if I should venture into anything else like... using Bows/Guns and geting points with Fast Shot or learning Exertion (dark force) and leveling that up. Or Start using shields and for shield skill (I want to be a damage dealer but not sure if I should learn shields for certain situations).

4. Thanks, I think I'll afk mine sometime

5. Is spears the very best for damage? I would of thought Axes were... if not I'll look into aquiring a good spear.

Thanks alot for the info you've given, if you could clear the rest up that would be awsome

And sorry for posting in the wrong section. I wasn't quite sure between Questions and Guides (Guess I chose the wrong one).

Yours,

- Deceptional

it's best if you do it with monsters that gives you good exp. lower lvl monsters means not a high enough "PT exp".

PT is just short of point. so i have no idea how people could mis-type that =/

spears are the best dmg dealer. that and i believe they are faster when compared to two-handed swords. if you wanted to be a pure dmg dealer, rangers would be nicer ^^ much higher dmg in later levels and much faster than warrior (basically out damaging them)

as for anything else, it's just a matter of preferrence.
