If you go to the weapons vendor and hover the mouse over the ammo, a tool-tip window comes up showing all of the weapons that ammo can be used with. It would be better if the weapon said the type of ammo in it's tool tip.

How can i understand what ammo i need to buy, to use a specific weapon?

just buy every typ of ammo, and try all of them, thats how i did it XD and ti worked :P now ive got them memorzied so its np ^.^
