Hiya everyone!

I'm just posting to see if there are any MxO players or former MxO players around here...

I've been playing MxO since beta, and still am... I hope to be saying the same about RFO in a year+ time!

Anyway shout out here if you play / used to play MxO!

I know a few that do... KingSI played up until recently.

I think its really been kinda boring up until recently... there's some new combat upgrades coming, and events are starting to pick up a little bit again.

Yeah that game is definately an example of wasted potential - played it religiously for about 9 months and then jut ran out of reasons to log in...

The playerbase on the whole has diminished, which is a shame because it definately has a lot of good things going for it.. just the fact that its main appeal of live events went out of the window when SOE took over.

Yeah it definitely is a shame.... the end of beta event rocked so much, its a shame that not every event could be as good.

I can only hope that the combat upgrade, and subsequent updates will change the game for the better, and bring in some more players etc.

If those updates don't improve the game and playerbase, I'll probably have to regrettably cancel. Its a shame though, cos I've always said I'll be with MxO until the end.

Hey hey hey!!! its another former MXO'ian signing in!!! whohooooo!!!! i know there are more coming, i just don't think they know much about this website yet or anything, cause all the beta stuff and things, i'm actualy surprised how much stuff is already on-line for this game, even while its still in beta. yah so going back to the main point, i'm from MXO, name was fizzly and i guess i'm going to remain the same here, when i finaly download the beta client, lol. i already know a few people who are moving over but i can't say their names yet cause i don't know if they want to be revealed yet or what not, anyway, nice to be here!! rock on beta!!!

w3rd. somehow i can't see myself playing a game based on a Movie that "ended" already.

just like how i can't see myself playing Lotr mmo's.

i always wondered if people were going to be attracted to MxO, one reason being that the movie "ended". =P

I think the reason the story aspect of MxO attracted as much attention was because although the movies ended, things in the Matrix World had really just opened up to a situation that had never surfaced before.

However I think they made a big mistake killing off Morpheus as early as they did - he was probably the strongest movie character they had, and could have used him to build up some of the smaller storylines that have been brewing.

Obviously they were going for the shock factor - and attracted attention for it (I think several movie websites and TV programs covered Morpheus' death) - however in terms of the game, it didn't do them too many favours.
