Best New Guide Contest!

Well, we already have a boatload of fantastic guides here on RFBase - but now we're throwing down the gauntlet to all you writers and RFO players out there.

Whoever submits the best NEW guide in this forum over the next week will win themselves a nifty $50 gift voucher for use at an online retailer of your choice (within reason - like amazon, gamestop, play etc etc)

All you need to do to have your new guide considered for the prize is post a link to it in this thread. After one week is through, we'll put the top ten new guides up in a poll, and allow our fantastic members to vote for 3 whole days as to who is worthy of the big prize.

Rules are as follows:

Only guides submitted from the date of this post onwards will be eligible
Guides must be your own work
Guides must not already be featured on this website

Yep, as everything will be put down to a public vote which cannot be edited by us, anyone including mods and admins are eligible

Perhaps a newcomers guide or a guide from lvls 1-10, 10-20 etc?

let me get this straight, it can be a guide on anything? isn't that a bit too broad. guides can exsist from weaponry guides to leveling guides to class guides, each with different difficulties levels of difficulty to write, what will they be judged on and when does the contest end?

Yep, it can be a guide on absolutely anything RFO related - and it will be down to the boards community to vote for the best, most helpful one.

It was initially set for the closing date for entries being the 15th March, with voting lasting for 3 days following - however depending on the amount of participation that may be extended.

Consider the competition extended, at least until the site revamp and relaunch has taken place.... as "compensation" of sorts, i'll be throwing in a few extra prizes for this
