PT Effects and leveling format
Character PT experience points
Every 10 levels, the PT exp changes, for example, when you first start off, if you attack a monster with either magic or melee weapon, get hit, etc etc, the exp rate that you get from monsters for your PT is 1. However, when your character gets to level 10, the PT exp will increase by 1, in otherwords, it will become x2. So when you become level 40, the will become 5 times of what you would have gotten when you were below level 10. In summary:
LV1~9 1
LV10~19 2
LV20~29 3
LV30~39 4
LV40~49 5
LV50 6
Monster exp rate
Monster exp rate is retarded, so i won't go into detail about it, i'll just give some examples to show how retarded it is.
When a player attacks a monster will 4 stars (i.e. 2 levels above player), the player will get a greater amount of exp (x2 exp rate to be exact). When a player attacks a monster that is 5 stars (3 levels above player) and if the monster is above lv21, then the player can get x3 exp. If it is a monster above lv41 and is 5 levels above the player (7 stars) the player can just attack once and get x5 exp.
1 stars (1 exp) - monster is -1~-3 levels from the player
2 stars (1 exp) - monster is the same level
3 stars (1 exp) - 1 level above the player
4 stars (2 exp) - 2 levels above the player
5 stars (3 exp) - 3 " "
6 stars (4 exp) - 4 " "
7 stars (5 exp) - 5+ " "
Using skills in battle
When you use attacks skills (including magic) the exp you get for PT is less (these are you status PT, not skills PT). For example, if a lv38 character attacks a level 47 monster, the exp it should get should be 20PT exp points (4x5=20), but if the player used a skill to attack the monster, he/she will only get 4 PT exp points. But apparently if you use 2nd or 3rd tier skills, this scenario does not apply.
PT experience points
So using the tables above (this is what i think is what you should get): to calculate the experience points (for you PT, not level) you get the level of your character (e.g. lv40) and the level of the monster you are attacking (e.g. lv45 - in other words, 5 levels above my character, therefore 7 stars) and you mutliply them to get the PT experience points.
lv40 character gets 5 exp
lv45 monster (7 stars) is 5 exp
5x5=25 pt experience points.

note: I'm not sure if this is correct or not (i dont have a level 40 character >__> this is just a theory! so correct me if i'm wrong

or any level 40 character can help me test out xD
