Dear all,

I am truly amazed and admire every single non-chinese player here that are learning the game so well despite the language barrier. :y: My salute again. As such, I decided to start a little thread to help out new players. RF is real cool and I like this game alot as well. I am definitely not the most experience player here. But maybe I can be of some help to do some translation and explaining here and there to make life simpler. I can understand :ew: having to face alien language while playing :)
I try my best to help :lol: But please I am more familiar with Bellato tho :wink:

Topic of the day : Minig and Refinng / Upgrading??

There are 5 types of Ores - Blue, red, yellow, green and white. Each is use for making different armor parts.
Mining give u 3 types of grade, +1/+2/+3.
Each grade when REFINE gives a random 4 type of crystals. From the value of gold it worth you will know which is the better one. :)

I see that many are asking how to upgrade, refining and upgrading of weapon/armor are closely linked.

Many people mine for ores and sell for money, its good but not the best way of using ores. If possible refine them.

Why?
1. After refine, crystal can still sell for gold and later convert back to money. Wont lose any money.

2. IMPT - When refining, we get random items that can be used for upgrading weapons and armors.

Feather stone - 14 types each for different items and add different stats.
* Need to have the Jpeg to translate, but for now just give info first k :)

Precious stones - 12 types. 4 categories. Each catergory got 3 color - they help to increase the chance to upgrade successfully.
Square type - red / blue / yellow ( increase little / increase more/ increase most)
Rectangle type - Blue / Green / Light Blue (same as above)
Oval type - red / yellow /purple (same as above)
tears type - light blue / black / yellow ( same as above)

3. RARE ITEMS - Element stone Random get also :)
5 types. VERY VERY RARE but gives very good properties!! One can even increase experience gained in battle :)

SO How to Upgrade?

1. Need armor or weapon with feather slots. Dropped from mobs.

2. Need the right feather stone. Example, to increase short dist weapon damage , need a orange yellow feather stone :) ITS A MUST to have feather stone to upgrade items.

3. All precious stones are to help to increase the success rate, its not a must.

First 4 upgrade - if failed - stones and feather stone will be gone too.

Lv 5 above upgrade - if failed - the item may be gone as well. So take note the risk involve.

Trade Balance.

Depending on how vibrant is the market of the 3 races, the tax rate of the items we buy/sell and GOLD as well will fluctuate accordingly.

Meaning example, CORA market is very active, the line graph will show its going up trend, their tax rate will increase. The race with the least vibrant will have lower tax rate. This is to balance the game to help the poorer race.

What does it affect?
When rate is High - refining fee is higher, when buying things, the selling price is higher, when selling things, we get lesser money.
When rate is low - opposite of the above.

Thus, when we know how the tax rate function, we always try to convert GOLD to money at low tax rate. :)

Very helpful indeed..now I just need to figure out how to make the RED laser arrows at level 20..I know you can buy the white laser arrows from shop, but there is a way to make red ones aswell with higher damage

And also, I heard getting feather stones when refining is about 1/10 000 chance...and that its no point in upgrading weapons before level 30..just what some higher level taiwanese players told me.

BTW I found out how to make red laser :) Gotta create a level 1 specialist and hand him the materials (both materials that are needed are dropjunk from monsters)

Lawnk, I calculated wen doing the refining part. Yes you will get gold for return but most of the times it's 75% of the money you will receive wen actually selling the ores would be better. Because of your guide I lost like 190 k wen refining ores and afterwards trading the gold for money :cry:

Gundam, the first one i think its toking about the this BTS are the points we acumulate when doing quest or when warring other races (not sure if its open yet).
BTS will eventually let you rise in rank as well. Most of us shld be at least rank 2 by now :)

The item u found is one the stone i mentioned, the tear stone. It helps to increase the chance of upgrading. This is the lowest grade :)
