Question to warriors

im a 2handed kinda guy(no pun intended), but i found that i get hit freakn hard. does the shield worth some investment our does it not help that much. and also does the dmg from the shield sword combo even compare to 2h sword. thx in advance

It depends on how you want to play. 2 handed swords do more damage in one hit than a one handed sword. Using a sheild and sword will not do as much damage and it will be harder to evade. On the other hand, you will have more defense. 2 handed swords are slower then one handed swords.

Are you talking about dual weild or a sword that needs 2 hands to hold it. I am talking about a sword that needs two hands to hold it. I am stating this to avoid some confusion in the term 2 handed sword.

2-handed swords and dual swords are in the catergory of 2-handed swords :P

Actualy it kinda does because dual swords do lesss damage,but they hit faster. 2 handed swords do more damage
,but they attack slower. It depends on how you want to fight.

Full Set of Armor, Sword, Shield = .72 attack speed

Full Set of Armor, 2 Handed Sword = .73 attack speed

2 Handed weapons are slower than a "Single" Weapon, but Shields can change that. Shield will drop a .94 attack speed to .72.

Single and Shield = Massive Defense and Low Attack Power.

2 Handed Swords = Greatest Damage in melee and Slowest in 2 handed weapons.

Polearm Type = Very unbalanced and Fastest of 2 handed weapons.

Axe = Overall the averaged 2 hand weapon.

yea i would have to say got pole arm it does sick damage i was putting a hurting on mobs way better than 2h sword i have tryed alot of the weps i would have to say pole arm is my fave

yea u guys r right bout dmg but i found with a shield i take so much less dmg. that means easier lvl(dun have to look at the screen all the time to see if i need to pot) and u use less pots so less money. but the biggest is the less dmg. with my shield i took 60 less dmg from a spider than i did with my 2h and the dmg was prtty close. so ima have both but wen im serious ill use 1h shield. but i must say the lvl 12 and 15 1h swords ARE SO GAY LOOKING!!!!! hope lvl 18's cool again

Level 18 and up are pretty cool. If you're an Accretia, and you want speed over defense you should level up your launcher ability and use the armor. It acts as if their is no weight to your armor, which is great.

Shields overall give more defense than sets of armor as well so yeah.
